Add DisplayName – Populate the DisplayName attribute uses the value in cn. This is required by BlackBerry.

Add Mail – Populate the Mail Attribute using the value in the cn attribute.

Add uniqueDomainID – Adds the uniqueDomainID attribute with a value 1049076 of to users and groups. The uniquedomainID attribute is used by DSfW to determine if the object is in the domain. If an object is missing this attribute, DSfW will not recognize the object as being within the domain.

Add UserPrincipalName – Adds the userPrinicpalName attribute to objects using the value of the cn attribute.

DSfW DNS Health Check – Checks that all DSfW/AD specific DNS records can be resolved.

DSfW Health Check – The script does a basic health check for NDSD and DSfW. Run with the -h switch to see more options. This script is a must have for a DSfW server.

DSfW Logs – Gather DSfW logs and files. Useful to troubleshoot installs.

DSfWMon – This is a rpm – daemon of the Monitor DSfW script which monitors DSfW daemons (ports and pids). Checks for pids, if ports are listening, and if a connection can be made on the ports. If one of the daemons stop or if one of the ports is not responding , the script will restart the services. This script is a must have for a DSfW server.

DSfW Monitor xad and rpc – DSfW xad – rpc Monitor script – This is a continuous loop script that runs every 2 seconds checking that rpcd and xadsd are running, if not it restarts. This is a troubleshooting script. Do not use unless directory by Novell Support.

DSfW Port Check – Monitor DSfW Ports only. It will check if ports are listening and a connection can be made. If one of the ports is not responding, the script will restart the services.

DSfW removal tools – Use this script to remove DSfW. It works great if the server is up and running, and works in most cases if the server is partially installed or non functioning.

dsrepair for linux – A script to make ndsrepair on Linux look similar to dsrepair on NetWare. It is menu driven and easy to use.
